Matthew Herington

Research Fellow in Responsible Innovation, Centre for Policy Futures, The University of Queensland

Matthew has a PhD from the University of Queensland, with the Energy & Poverty Research Group and co-supervised from within the School of Chemical Engineering and the School of Communication and Arts. His applied research draws upon contemporary theories of change in sociology to study how social norms take hold, and unravel, in relation to energy and environmental practices. Matthew is uniquely positioned for transdisciplinary research with a background in public policy (energy), a Master of Business and undergraduate studies in finance at UQ.
