Matthew Watson is Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. From 2013 to 2016 he is also an Economic and Social Research Council Professorial Fellow, working on the project 'Rethinking the Market': http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/pais/research/clusters/ipe/rethinkingthemarket. He has published widely on various aspects of the present market world, looking at the way in which the practices of that world now shape how we think about the economy and how we act within it. His most recent book was published in February 2014 and is called Uneconomic Economics and the Crisis of the Model World.
