I'm fascinated by all things leadership and organisational psychology. My research and applied work span across topics such as leadership destabilisation, leader transgressions, and social dynamics within organisations. Currently, I'm investigating the social psychological underpinnings of high-reliability organisations - elite groups that operate in high-risk, high-pressure conditions (e.g., Formula 1 racing teams, frontline mining operations, emergency services, and air force squadrons).
I am also a registered psychologist, who is having a blast coordinating placements for the award-winning Work and Research in Applied Psychology (WRAP) program here at UQ. This program offers students work-integrated learning experiences while contributing to industry growth and community needs. It's a win-win for everyone!
And occasionally, something inspires me to write accessible, educational articles that link awesome research with real-world events.
