Dr Megan Woods is a Senior Lecturer in Management from the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics at the University of Tasmania.

Dr Woods specialises in qualitative research methods, which means gathering non-numerical data through interviews, focus groups, observations of behaviour, social media, and document analysis, to capture people's experiences.

Through her expertise, she’s played an integral role in the completion of an award-winning study, which is helping policy-makers foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Australia’s agricultural regions. Dr Woods was responsible for designing a method of analysis for the qualitative data they collected, and training a research team in carrying out this analysis to better understand the needs of Australia’s agricultural regions.

Dr Woods also researches and teaches in the area of workplace mental health, using her work to help managers and to better understand, support and address mental health issues.
