Melanie McDowall

Mel is a researcher within the Robinson Research Institute at the University of Adelaide and her research interests are the final stages of oocyte maturation and fertilisation, called the peri-conception period. In particular Mel investigates the influence of energy substrates such as carbohydrates and fats on oocyte health and subsequent embryo health.
