Michael Henderson

Associate Professor in Educational Technologies, Monash University

Dr Henderson is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. He researches the complex relationship between education and technology, with particular interests in the use of new media in instructional design and their implications for teaching and learning. His focus ranges from Early Childhood through to Higher Education and he is known for work in social media risks as well as multimodal feedback designs.

He is a founding member and current leader of the Learning with New Media Research Group which has been providing critical studies in the field for over two decades and is made up of 20 researchers across a broad spectrum of issues in the field of educational technologies. He also currently holds the post of Program Director for Graduate Studies within the Faculty.
