Michael Mandelbaum

Michael Mandelbaum is the Christian A. Herter Professor of American Foreign Policy at The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and the author of The Meaning of Sports: Why Americans Watch Baseball, Football, and Basketball and What They See When They Do. He has written 10 books on American foreign policy and edited 12 more. He co-authored That Used to Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented and How We Can Come Back with The New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman.
