Michael Rowan-Robinson

Professor of Astrophysics, Imperial College London

I was Head of the Astrophysics Group at Imperial College in London from 1993 to 2007. From 2007-12 I continued to teach part-time in the Blackett Lab, Imperial. I was President of the Royal Astronomical Society 2006-8. I chaired the UK Ground-Based Facilities Review in 2009, and I was Chair of the European Southern Observatory's Observation Planning Committee in 2011.
