Michail Theodosiadis

Dr. Michail Theodosiadis is an academic researcher working in the field of International Political Theory, International Relations and History of Political Thought. His most recent research interests and teaching activities revolve around issues related: (A) to Liberalism (as a trend in International Relations) and Cosmopolitanism; (B) to the contribution of Byzantine strands of political thought (with emphasis on Cosmopolitanism) to the improvement of contemporary peace prospects between nations; (C) to the comparative examination of ancient Greek democracy and modern liberal democracy. Another cluster of his research looks at Western and post-colonial approaches on global politics and history. Also, Dr. Theodosiadis looks at the history of the Greek diaspora in tandem with Cultural Diplomacy. Dr. Theodosiadis frequently consults with official diplomats about crisis management, cultural property, democracy, transnational peace and cooperation.
