I am currently a PhD student at the University of Oregon, OR in beautiful Eugene studying geophysics and seismology. My research focuses on imaging and understanding the Earth’s upper mantle and how it relates to the processes we observe on the surface. Specifically, I focus on understanding the Cascadia subduction zone and the Juan de Fuca plate system offshore of the western US. I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I also completed my B.S. at the University of New Mexico in physics and applied mathematics.
