Postdoctoral Research Associate, King's College London

Dr. Nabeela Ahmed is an interdisciplinary researcher interested in urban experiences of social exclusion, migration and state-citizen relations, and using participatory and innovative qualitative methods to understand these areas. She completed her doctorate in Human Geography at the University of Sussex and is currently working as post-doctorate research associate at King’s College London on a British Academy Global Challenges Research Fund project looking at urban infrastructure and gender in India. She has worked with a number of NGOs in South Asia, including various grassroots and local organisations across India, and BRAC in Bangladesh, working mainly with communities in urban informal settlements.
