Professor of Clinical Geropsychology, The University of Queensland

Professor Nancy A. Pachana has an international reputation in the area of geriatric mental health, particularly with her research on late-life anxiety disorders. She has published 200+ original articles in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as 25 book chapters, 4 edited and 2 authored books, and has been awarded more than $20 million in competitive research funding since 2002. In 2010 she was awarded an Australian Davos Connection (ADC) Future Summit Leadership Award, based on her expertise and leadership in the field of geropsychology. She was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia in 2014.
