Naomi Tyrrell is Senior Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth. Her research is focused on young people's experiences of migration. Her current research focuses on the experiences of young people who moved to Britain from Central and Eastern European countries during their childhood, with particular focus on issues of identity, belonging and citizenship (see www.migrantyouth.org). She has worked with young people who have migrated within Europe, young asylum seekers and refugees, young people who migrate as part of military families, and young people who move from urban to rural areas of Britain. She has published widely in international journals on issues related to children, youth, families, migration and intergenerational relationships. She has co-authored and co-edited three books.
