Professor of Economics, Tel Aviv University

I am a Professor of Economics in the Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. I received my B.A. and B.S. degrees from Miami University (Ohio) in 1979,my M.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1981, and my Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkeley in 1989.

I have published numerous empirical papers using econometrics in industrial organization, the economics of information technology, the economics of the software & Internet industries, and the economics of cybersecurity. My papers have received more than 5000 citations at Google Scholar.

I am a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR.)

I was a managing editor at the International Journal of Industrial Organization (IJIO) from 2005-2012. Following my editorship at the IJIO, I was named “Honorary Editor” of the journal. I am the only honorary editor in the history of the IJIO.
