Nellie Myburgh

As a social scientist with specialization in Sociology of Health, I have experience working in various social contexts and fields within the discipline including working on issues related to HIV and AIDS, TB, gender, access to health services, barriers and enabling factors to health care, child malnutrition, and many more. I have a Bachelor of Social Science (Sociology), Master of Arts Degree (Sociology) and a PhD in Sociology. I am also a qualified dairy scientist.
I am currently working as a Senior Researcher at the Wits Health Consortium at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa.
