PhD Candidate in Pacific History, Australian National University

Since 2015, I have been researching the history of phosphate mining on Makatea, French Polynesia. I am also currently the editorial assistant for the Journal of Pacific History, research officer for the Oceania Working Party at the Australian Dictionary of Biography, and research assistant for a DFAT ‘Documents on Australian foreign policy’ volume on Nauru.

Before this I have researched and published on various aspects of New Zealand's colonial history in the Pacific.
