Assistant Professor, Stockholm University

Nick Butler is an Assistant Professor at Stockholm University Business School, having previously worked at Lund University and St Andrews University, Scotland. His research is in the area of organisation studies, focusing on the sociology of work and critical perspectives on management. He writes on topics including the politics of knowledge production in the business school, ethics in management research, the working lives of stand-up comedians, and the philosophy of laughter and humour. He is a member of the editorial collective of ephemera: theory & politics in organization (ephemerajournal.org).
