Senior Research Associate, Lancaster University

Based in the DEMAND Centre at Lancaster University, my current research is looking at how the systems, structures and practices of the planning professions make and shape demand for energy and mobility. Recent writing includes a working paper about the relevance of studying the planning professions to understand demand for transport, a book chapter (co-authored with Andy McMeekin) which analyses transport policy in England drawing on concepts from theories of practice, and a co-authored report about the relevance of theories of practice for sustainability policy.
