disease mapping, cluster detection, spatio-temporal disease dynamics
distal and proximal risk/protective factors associated with VBDs control
role of tailored health communication messaging in VBDs risk-reduction
2. The "recreation" built environment as a social determinant of health-related quality of life, with particular interest in:

Spatial distribution of recreation opportunities for different socio-demographic groups
Health disparities and recreation accessibility
3. Application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Public health, Parks, Recreation, & Tourism research
