Research Interests
1. Peri-domestic prevention and control of tick-borne disease (TBD) risk, with particular interest in:

- psycho-social and ecological predictors of tick exposure, entomological risk index, & TBD risk in peri-domestic areas,
- randomized clinical trial of integrated tick control in tick exposure for TBD risk reduction in peri-domestic areas,
- metagenomic analysis of tick-borne bacterial endosymbionts (clustering, classification, gene finding & prediction),
- disease mapping, cluster detection, spatio-temporal disease dynamics

2. The "recreation" built environment as a social determinant of health-related quality of life, with particular interest in: Health disparities and recreation accessibility
