Olivier Dangles

OD has a permanent position as a director of investigations in ecology and development at the French Institute for Research and Development (IRD). He is specialized in biodiversity dynamics modeling in a context of global change, both in agricultural and natural ecosystems. He has been working for 10 years in the tropical Andes and is now co-director of a joined laboratory between Ecuador, Colombia en Francia (www.bioinca.org). He has published more than 130 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 5 books. He is recipient of the “Recherche au Sud” Prize in 2012.
