ARC DECRA Fellow, Edith Cowan University

I completed my PhD in Biology at the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2011. Since 2012, I have worked as a postdoctoral research fellow (research-only) on a national collaborative research program (The CSIRO Coastal Carbon Flagship Cluster) based at Edith Cowan University (ECU) and at The University of Western Australia’s Oceans Institute (UWA OI). I am now an ARC DECRA researcher at ECU.

My most significant contributions to this field of research are based on my pioneering use of seagrass sedimentary archives from the Mediterranean Sea to reconstruct the past history of coastal and terrestrial ecosystems in response to environmental forces.
