Paola Favaro

I am a graduate of the School of Architecture at the IUAV University of Venice, Italy. I hold a PhD from UNSW Sydney. I have more that 25 years experience working as an architect and as an educator in Italy (Padova and Venice), Canada (Toronto) and from1998 in Australia (Newcastle University and UNSW Sydney Faculty of Built Environment). My research interests are related to architecture as urban response to the design problems of the contemporary 21st century city. I have contributed to a number of architecture journals and book chapters by analysing a number of australian/european architects.
