Paolo Momigliano is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki. He obtained his PhD at Macquarie University, working on shark conservation in Australia and Indonesia.

He has a broad interest in marine ecology, and has contributed to projects on a range of marine organisms from microscopic algae and protists to fish and large predatory sharks.

He is Italian, a keen diver and kite-surfer and has a near-obsession for cheese.
