Patience Mukwambo

Patience Mukwambo holds an MSc in Population Studies from the University of Zimbabwe, where she was a lecturer until 2012. She received a full-time Doctoral Scholarship at the Centre for Research on Higher Education and Development (CRHED) in 2014 and completed her PhD in Development Studies in 2016. Using Zimbabwe as a case study, her PhD research innovatively proposes an alternative way of theorising the quality of teaching and learning in higher education from a human development perspective. Patience’s research interests include human development, higher education access and quality.
