Patrick Weltevrede

Lecturer In Pulsar Astrophysics, University of Manchester

I am a lecturer in pulsar astrophysics. Much of my work involves research at the Jodrell Bank Observatory at the University of Manchester.

My research is a combination of observational and theoretical astrophysics in areas including:

- Emission processes of radio pulsars, including pulse-to-pulse variability
- Radio polarization, especially with the aim of finding out more about magnetosphere configurations
- Gamma-ray production of pulsars
- Spin-down rate variability of pulsars, including spin-down state changes and rotational glitches
