Professor Sir Paul Curran was President of City, University of London from 2010 to 2021. Before this he was Vice-Chancellor of Bournemouth University and DVC of University of Southampton, following a career as a research scientist in various roles incuding at NASA. He is a Board member of London Higher and President of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society. He was Chair of the national Review Body on Doctors’ & Dentists’ Remuneration and the UCEA Board, and a member of NERC Council. He was knighted in the 2016 New Year Honours.
