Postdoctoral fellow, Carleton University

Paul EJ Thomas is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University, and a Program Fellow with Carleton’s Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management. Paul’s research focuses on legislative representation, political parties, and MP behaviour in Canada and the UK. Together with David Rayside and Jerald Sabin, he is the author of "Religion and Canadian Party Politics" (UBC Press, 2017). Paul previously worked in public affairs for Cancer Research UK, a British charity, and was a researcher for Senator Yoine Goldstein. He is also the Treasurer of the Canadian Study of Parliament Group.
