Paula Alaszkiewicz

PhD Candidate and Lecturer in Art History, Concordia University

Paula Alaszkiewicz is a fashion historian and scholar. She is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art History at Concordia University where she researches histories of fashion display in international exhibitions, museums, department stores, and shop windows from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. Her work addresses the overlapping and divergent histories, temporalities, and spaces of fashion and modernity. She consults on heritage projects and works closely with the exhibition-maker Judith Clark.
