Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Futures of the University of Queensland, Senior Research Fellow with the Earth System Governance Project, Lead Author for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) 6th Global Environment Outlook. My research focuses on policy, institutions and management in the context of sustainability and environmental governance. Areas of expertise include marine social-ecological systems, climate change adaptation and natural resource management in Australia, Brazil and Southeast Asia.
