Teaching Fellow in Latin American Studies, University of Bath

I graduated from Cardiff University with a Category 1 in my PhD and since that time have worked at the Universities of Bristol and Bath. My research centres on sexuality and gender rights in Latin America, with a specific focus on Chile. I have published on intersectionality, legal mobilisation, and human rights from gender and sexuality perspectives. I am currently exploring these issues in relation to compliance and the Inter-American System of Human Rights. In 2010 I was awarded the Harold Blakemore Prize by the Society of Latin American Studies and between 2009 and 2012 I worked as a consultant researcher for the Universidad Diego Portales in Chile.
