Philip Anloague

Philip Anloague is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Dayton. He is the former Associate Provost of Graduate Academic Affairs and was the founding chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UD. Anloague earned his Doctor of Health Science Degree (DHSc) in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, is a board certified Orthopaedic Specialist (OCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists, and is also a certified manual therapist (MTC). He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Psychology at Cleveland State University where he minored in Athletic Training and Gerontology. He also holds a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) Degree from Andrews University and has completed additional certifications in numerous clinical subspecialties related to orthopedics and sports medicine.

Anloague is currently the Director of Performance and Sports Science for the Indiana Pacers and specializes in working with high-level, elite athletes. He has been a consultant for four National Basketball Association teams (Indiana Pacers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Denver Nuggets) where he has conducted and has published research related to the utility of functional and clinical measures as they relate to sports injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports & human performance. Anloague is the owner of Orion Physical Therapy Specialists and Orion Sports Medicine where he maintains clinical practice.
