Post Doctoral Researcher in Medieval Studies, Durham University

My background is in medieval language and literature. I read French and Spanish at Durham, followed by an MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. My doctoral thesis explored the relationship between metaphor and mystical writing in the works of two French authors, Marguerite Porete and Marguerite d'Oingt. I currently work on medieval food.
