Postdoctoral Researcher, Atmospheric Dynamics, UNSW Sydney

Rachel graduated with a B. Sc. in Applied Maths in 2009 and a B. Sc. (Hons) in 2010, both from the University of Melbourne. Her Honours work investigated the effects of atmospheric dynamics and terrain on fire danger. She then completed her PhD in Earth Sciences in 2017, specialising in momentum transport in tropical convection using the WRF Model and observational data from Doppler radar. She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Assoc. Prof. Jason Sharples working on bushfire dynamics.
