Senior Geography Lecturer, Sheffield Hallam University

Rebecca's first postdoctoral Position was as a Research Assistant at the University of Sheffield. Rebecca's main area of research focused on the management of water quality within distribution networks. Her research themes included investigations into the discolouration of potable water and the role of stagnation on water quality in distribution networks.

She then went on to gain industry experience working at Severn Trent Water as a Strategy Analyst where she helped to develop and influence strategies aimed at improving both infrastructure and non-infrastructure water related performance. Rebecca returned to academia working as a Research Associate in partnership with Kingfisher Future Homes focusing on the delivery of energy efficient products and services.

Dr Sharpe joined Sheffield Hallam University as a Lecturer in 2014 continuing her research and teaching Data Analysis and Environmental Geography.
