Dr Rob Grenfell is Director of Health and Biosecurity at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency. With expertise in clinical quality and incorporating new technologies into health services, Rob specialises in forging strong partnerships with government, industry and the wider medical research and development community for the benefit of all Australians. Rob is a qualified public health physician and GP with almost 30 years' experience in the public and private sectors, including directorial roles at the Heart Foundation and Bupa Australia and New Zealand, and senior advisory roles at Parks Victoria and the Victorian Department of Health. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine, a former member of the NHMRC health advisory committee (2002-2005), and the past Chair of General Practice Victoria.
