I graduated with an MSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 2010. Following this, I joined the Energy Futures Doctoral Training Centre here at Sheffield University in order to further my interest in sustainable energy. I am part of the Energy and Environmental Engineering Group of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
I am working with Professor Vida Sharifi and Professor Jim Swithenbank to research heat storage technologies and their integration with the energy system. The aim is to manage waste heat captured from industry and power stations before distributing this heat to sites of demand helping to conserve fuel, lower heating costs, and reduce carbon emissions.
