Robert Carolina

Senior Visiting Fellow, Information Security Group, Royal Holloway University of London

Robert Carolina delivers the legal and regulatory aspects of cyber security module for the university's MSc degree in information security. He is the author of the Law and Regulation Knowledge Area of CyBOK: the Cybersecurity Body of Knowledge.

Robert is a practicing solicitor with extensive expertise in negotiating and drafting complex technology-related services and partnering agreements. He advises on managing ICT-related law and regulatory risk, including data protection, interception, and online banking and payment systems. Career highlights include in-house counsel with a US-based Internet software start-up, lawyer with a "magic circle" London law firm, and partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers legal services.

Robert is a graduate of the University of Dayton (BA, 1988), Georgetown University Law Center (Juris Doctor, 1991), and the London School of Economics (LL.M International Business Law, 1993).
