PhD Researcher in Environmental Science, University of East Anglia

Robert Hawkes is a third year PhD student at the University of East Anglia where he works alongside the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and Natural England. His research is making use of one Europe’s largest field experiments, where he focuses on the multi-taxa consequences of alternative grass-heath management techniques. Prior to his PhD, Rob worked at the RSPB for five years and undertook an MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation at the same University.
