PhD Candidate, Saarland University

I am currently a PhD student within the Institute of Sport and Preventive Medicine, Saarland University, Germany; one of only 22 FIFA accredited medical centres of excellence worldwide. My research centres around injury epidemiology and prevention within association football.

I completed both my BSc (Hons) and MSc sport science degrees in Scotland through Heriot-Watt University and the University of Glasgow respectively. Previously, I have worked in the applied setting as a sport scientist with a number of organisations including: Heart of Midlothian Football Club, the Scottish Football Association and the sportscotland Institute of Sport.
