Robert Musundire

Prof. Robert Musundire is an Associate Professor of Entomology in the Department of Crop
Science and Post-Harvest Technology at Chinhoyi University of Technology, Zimbabwe. He
is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University, USA and has
published widely on edible insects including books and book chapters. He has edited and
reviewed manuscripts for many international journals. Prof. Musundire currently leads the
project titled “Edible Insects for Food Security and Health – from Practice to Evidence and
Policy Implications in Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe”, part of the
Agriculture for Food Security 2030 programme. He was also the President of the Local
Organizing Committee of the First African Conference on Edible Insects held in Harare,
Zimbabwe, 14-16 August 2019.
