Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease, University of Liverpool

I'm an expert on biological anthropology, with a focus on tree-dwelling and human bipedalism, and publish extensively on the biomechanics of gait in modern humans. I am also Honorary Professor of Rheumatology, at Aintree University NHS Trust. I was previously Professor of Musculoskeletal Biology at the University of Liverpool.
