Ruth Crowe

Ruth Crowe is a PhD student working in the area of childhood obesity prevention in out of school hours care in NSW. Ruth completed a Bachelor of Science Nutrition (Hons) at UOW in 2015 and has worked on several research teams including: Koori Kids Culture Club, Developing a food security tool for older Australian Adults and Auditing the healthy eating and active living (HEAL) environments within afterschool clubs. Ruth has eight years experience running holiday programs in remote Aboriginal communities, working closely with community members and Elders in the Northern Territory.
