Director Modelling and Research Solutions, Macquarie University

Ryan leads the modelling and research group responsible for the strategic direction and development of Risk Frontiers’ catastrophe loss models, data and research solutions. He has expertise in numerical and probabilistic modelling and quantitative risk analysis and specialises in probabilistic tropical cyclone and severe storm loss modelling.

Ryan’s research interests include current and projected relationships between weather-related natural disaster losses and climate change and the implications these have for policy.
