Sandra Gattenhof

Dr Sandra Gattenhof is Professor and Director of Research Training in the Creative Industries Faculty, Queensland University of Technology. Sandra specialises in drama/arts in schools & communities, postdramatic theatre, arts & cultural evaluation and contemporary performance for children and young people. A life-long educator and trained primary teacher Sandra has been at the forefront of the development of The Arts national curriculum serving as an Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority Advisory Group Member and Drama consultant. She has been a Drama Australia President and Board member in the role of Director of Arts Education and Industry Partnerships. Sandra is the chief investigator of Australian Research Council three year grant investigating the social impact of the arts in Australian regional communities. Sandra is a Drama Queensland Life Member awarded for Longstanding Contribution to the Drama Community.
