Sandra Rothenberg

Chair of Public Policy, Professor of Business, and Director of Saunders College Institute for Business Ethics, Rochester Institute of Technology

Sandra Rothenberg is a Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology's Philip E. Saunders College of Business in the Department of Management, Faculty Affiliate in the Department of Public Policy, and Director of the Institute for Business Ethics and Social Responsibility. She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, MS in Technology and Policy from MIT, and BS in Bioengineering from Syracuse University. Professor Rothenberg teaches in the areas of Organizational Behavior, Business and Society, and Sustainable Management. Her research focuses on business ethics, sustainable business, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and business and public policy; the research has been published in journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Sloan Management Review, California Management Review, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, and Business and Society. Prior to joining RIT, she also worked as a research associate for the Harvard Global Environmental Assessment Program, U.S. Office of Technology Assessment, and MIT Technology, Business and Environment program.
