Sarah Page

I am an Associate Professor in Social Justice and Social Learning involved in teaching Action on Poverty, Criminology and Mentoring. I have worked at Staffordshire University since 2006 in the Criminology team and have been seconded to the Creative Communities Unit for a brief period to focus on teaching Mentoring and Community Leadership to MA students and delivering consultancy to external organisations.

I tend to do research projects in partnership with relevant external stakeholders. For example, gambling harm and the CS based research with the Howard League for Penal Reform, the Magistrates Association, GamCare and HMPPS. Drug and Alcohol addiction based research with the Centre for Justice Innovation, the JABBS foundation, West Mids Police Crime Commissioners Office and Stoke on Trent City Council.

Prior to working at the University I was a senior manager within a Health Action Zone tackling poverty through innovation and partnership working. I have been involved in reducing health and social inequalities through City wide strategic partnerships.
