After graduating in economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin I worked as a senior consultant for the research and advisory firm Ovum in Melbourne. I am now a Ph.D. student at the University of Melbourne at the Centre for Energy-Efficient Telecommunications (CEET). The title of my thesis is 'The Energy and Carbon Footprint of Universal Broadband'.
