Scott Ayton is a neurobiologist at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and mental Health. His major research focus is on neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's diseases. Dr. Ayton's research encompasses basic laboratory techniques through to clinical research. He specialises in understanding the role of biological metals in health and diseases, and investigates metals as therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative disease.
