Sean W. Burges is a Lecturer in International Relations at the School of Politics & International Relations and a Senior Associate of the Australian National Centre for Latin American Studies at the Australian National University and editor of the ANCLAS blog (http://anclas.net). He is also a Senior Research Fellow with the Washington, DC-based Council on Hemispheric Affairs.
In addition to writing the book Brazilian Foreign Policy After the Cold War (University Press of Florida, 2009) he has published on Brazilian foreign policy and inter-American affairs in International Relations, International Journal, Polity, The Cambridge Review of International Affairs, The Bulletin of Latin American Research, Canadian Foreign Policy, Current History, and Third World Quarterly.
