Dr Sean Gallagher is the inaugural Director of the Centre for the New Workforce at Swinburne University of Technology, a research centre focused on talent development and workforce transformation in the digital economy. Sean is a recognised thought leader on experiential learning and the impact of technology and globalisation on higher education and his work has shaped federal and state government policy. He holds a PhD in chemistry, has served on the board of the Australian Synchrotron, established and ran the US Studies Centre, and co-chaired Twenty10, a not-for-profit supporting young LGBTIQ people. Sean and his partner are a proud two-dad family with their 4yo daughter
